We are currently hiring for:
School Gardener
We are looking for freelance sessional workers to work part-time delivering environmental education sessions in schools and in HCGA’s community gardens. We work across multiple sites and the position requires someone who is self-motivated, able to manage their time well and work independently. We are looking for an individual with at least one year’s teaching experience in primary schools or equivalent, with an interest in gardening and UK wildlife. We will provide opportunities for further training and CPD.

HCGA has a pool of sessional staff and we are always interested in hearing from people who have the following skills and are looking for part-time or occasional work:
- Good gardening or food growing skills and experience
- Good people skills
- The ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to plan and lead sessions
- Experience of working with volunteers or children
