John the Lyon Visits The Really Wild Readers Club!
This week, John the Lyon surprised the children at our Really Wild Readers Club!
We received funding from the John Lyon’s Charity this summer to run a play scheme for local families at our site, Phoenix Farm in White City. The school holiday activity fund enabled us to share this beautiful outdoor space with local children, many of whom, do not have access to a garden. We have an abundance of wildlife and plant species at the farm which provides a brilliant opportunity for the children to learn all about nature.
We would like to say a huge thank you to The John Lyon’s Charity for making this project possible and for coming down to say hello to us all – it really made us all smile!
