The Big Give, Green Match Funding Campaign
Fundraising for More Therapeutic Gardening Sessions and to Keep our Electric Van Moving!
The Green Match Fund is a funding campaign for charities which are working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. All donations made to HCGA via The Big Give website during the week of the campaign (22-29 April) will be match funded by The John Spedan Lewis Foundation. The campaign launches on World Earth Day Thursday 22nd April 2021.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated to us during other campaigns. If you feel you could help us further in our latest fundraising campaign to raise £5000 it would enable us to deliver more therapeutic, volunteer gardening sessions and help us keep our electric van on the road. The van enables us to deliver tools, resources and plants to the various green sites we manage across west London and deliver our home-grown, organic veg plants and peat-free compost to all the local schools we work with. We promote environmental sustainability within the borough and manage our sites to maximise biodiversity and encourage wildlife.
The campaign is open for 1 week only from midday on Thursday 22nd April 2021 – Thursday 29th April 2021.
