Met Police Cadets Volunteer Day at Loris Gardens
Last week, over twenty police cadets aged 14-16 and their leader, Commander Catherine Roper, completed a very long and hard day’s work helping to spruce up Loris Gardens. The cadets came from across three boroughs: Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham. Thanks to their positive attitudes and tenacious spirit, the gardens are looking a lot better and more cared for, so a big thank you to all of those involved. We were also very happy to receive more help from five local residents, so a big thank you to them as well!
Thanks to the local police for coming down during the day, for publicising the event on Nextdoor.co.uk and Twitter and for maintaining a presence in the gardens to help us tackle the anti-social behaviour in order to make the space safer so local residents can enjoy the gardens.
