For the second year local residents and businesses will be congregating on Starch Green W12 (the corner of Askew and Goldhawk Road) at 4.30pm on Monday December 15th to spread a bit of festive cheer when they switch on the Christmas tree lights. This year they have invited a Mr Christmas to lead the celebrations and he will be arriving complete with 3 live reindeer!
In addition there will be carol singers performing along the Askew Road and several local businesses will be welcoming them with refreshments. The singers will finish their carols at The Eagle pub opposite the green where they will be given mulled wine or a Young
