Schools

For the past ten years we have organised an environmental summer playscheme. We also employ a gardener who runs environmental activities in four local primary schools.

We have built up a collection of activities and have worked with many other organisations in the borough, running one-off workshops, short-term projects and longer-term contracts around growing, food and environmental art.

We can run sessions for children and families of all ages in both formal curriculum linked projects, and after-school and holiday activities. Our staff are all CRB checked and insured.

We can also advise groups on how to make their premises more environmentally friendly and on sources of grants and other fundings for environmental projects.

It is our policy to follow the three R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

We grow a lot of the plants we use from seed and materials are sourced sustainably where possible.

Organizations that we currently work with are:

Nurseries and childrens centres: Cathnor Park Children Centre and Vanessa Nursery and the Randolph Beresford Children's Centre.
Primary Schools: Avonmore, Flora Gardens, Lena Gardens, Sulivan, St Augustines.
Secondary: Phoenix School Farm.
